Cancellation Policy for Accommodation

1. Cancellation Timeframes & Refunds

  • Free Cancellation: Cancellations made more than 14 days before check-in will receive a full refund.
  • Partial Refund: Cancellations made between 7 and 14 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund.
  • No Refund: Cancellations made less than 7 days before check-in are non-refundable.

2. Early Departures & No-Shows

  • No refunds are provided for early departures or no-shows.

3. Special Circumstances

  • Cancellations due to extenuating circumstances (e.g., illness, natural disaster) may be eligible for a refund at the host’s discretion.

4. Changes to Booking

  • Changes to the reservation dates are subject to availability and may be subject to a fee or rate change.

5. Non-Refundable Rates

  • Some bookings may be offered at a discounted, non-refundable rate. These are not eligible for refunds under any circumstances.

Charges for Damages Policy

1. Guest Responsibility

Guests are responsible for leaving the property in the same condition as it was at check-in. Any damage, breakage, or loss caused during the stay may result in additional charges.

2. Security Deposit

  • A refundable security deposit of £100 is required prior to check-in.
  • This deposit will be refunded within 5–7 days after check-out, provided no damage or excessive cleaning is required.

3. Damage Assessment

The following may result in partial or full loss of the security deposit:
  • Broken or missing items (dishes, furniture, electronics, decor, etc.)
  • Stained or damaged linens, towels, or upholstery
  • Unauthorised pets or smoking indoors
  • Excessive cleaning needed due to spills, or misuse
  • Damage to walls, floors, or fixtures

4. Notification of Damage

Guests are asked to report any accidental damage immediately. Prompt notification may reduce the risk of full liability.

5. Charges Beyond Security Deposit

If the cost of repairs or replacements exceeds the deposit amount, guests will be invoiced for the balance. Legal action may be taken for unpaid damages.

6. Inspection

The property will be inspected after check-out during cleaning.
